Administrative settings

Configuration is divided by responsibility and delivered through the administrative interface or the controlled deployment package.

Facility settings

• Organization identity, sites, time zone, booking rules, and notification policy
• Projects, users, groups, roles, customer access, and data ownership
• Storage classes, retention, backup targets, and capacity thresholds

Instrument settings

• Instrument and detector identities, connection profiles, limits, and supported modes
• Presets, calibration sets, reference data, grid types, and validation status
• Operator approval requirements and bounded automation policies

Processing settings

• Approved workflows and extensions, resource limits, priorities, and result retention
• Compute pools, scheduling policy, health thresholds, and maintenance windows

Secrets and low-level service settings must remain in the facility’s protected configuration system. Do not place credentials in screenshots, support tickets, public issues, or shared workflow definitions.
