Guided product tour

The safest first evaluation uses a vendor-provided demonstration workspace or a non-production installation with synthetic or approved test data. Do not connect a live microscope for an initial tour.

Suggested walkthrough

1. Open Projects and inspect how users, samples, grids, and sessions remain related.
2. Open Inventory and follow a grid through its container and storage location.
3. Open a demonstration Session and review the target hierarchy from atlas to exposure.
4. Compare the acquisition plan with the run record and inspect why targets were accepted or rejected.
5. Open Processing and follow an exposure through early quality results.
6. Open an analysis workspace and inspect saved parameters, inputs, outputs, and provenance.
7. Review facility dashboards for scheduling, utilization, compute activity, and instrument status.

What to evaluate

• Can each participant find the same grid and session without reconstructing filenames?
• Are permissions appropriate for administrators, operators, researchers, and visitors?
• Does the plan preserve enough information to explain what ran and why?
• Are warnings visible and is the operator stop path clear?
• Can results be traced back to their acquisition target and settings?
